Women’s Brain Health Initiative and its Young Persons Cabinet are teaming up with League of Rock to bring together young and old for a 10 weeks musical experience, culminating in an evening of entertainment and charitable giving. What makes this band battle unique from others is the intergenerational challenge; both on stage and off – through musical talent and fundraising ability.
Did you know that musical activity not only immensely enriches our lives, but can also benefit our brain health? The more we train, use and test our brain, the better it will perform, and playing an instrument or singing is one activity that can help protect our brains from cognitive decline.
